Roll Tide!

 

On Saturday some of my college friends, Mandy and Levi Hansen came and stayed with us.  They had 4 tickets to the Alabama vs MS State game and were going to go with their boys but because the weather had turned cold they asked Clay and I if we wanted to go.

It was our Homecoming game and we had a parade on campus before the game.

Our friends and their boys and us went to the parade, the kids had fun....the parade was a little long especially a parade that doesn't involve candy for the kids.

We had to take the kids to a babysitters house then we went to the tailgating with the college of business.  I was thinking that it was going to be a tent like tons of others were but no it was a stadium seating room with steak and chicken sandwiches, cupcakes, fruit, drinks, chips and more.  I think that we will be going to those from now on!

Emma had to come with us to the game so I had her all bundled up with fleece lined jeans, 2 shirts, jacket, hat and a blanket.  She fell asleep right after the game finally started and slept for a while.  She seemed pretty warm.

The game was a blowout so we left after the 4th quarter began.
We had a lot of fun and the kids were all snuggled up asleep when we got home.

It was a very busy day but it was really fun!  And we loved having company stay with us.
