Emma's 7 mths old today!!

My little Emma is 7mths old today.
I cannot wrap my head around this fact!
Its seems like it was just yesterday I had her!
I'll have to say I have enjoyed every minute of these past 7mths!
She has been a wonderful addition to our family!

This week Emma has come down with a cold or something!
She hasn't been feeling well at all!
She cut her first tooth on Monday, its the bottom left tooth!

She and I went to Columbus,MS on Wed to go to Coopers Closet a consignment place that comes twice a yr!
My sister, a friend and I entered about 600 items I think!
As consignors we got to go shop before the public did!

I met up with my sister and her kids and we went to shop!
This place is super picky about their stuff which is good b/c I don't like to buy crap!

I got all of these smocked dresses for Emma!!
6 of them around 40$ all together.
I thought it was quite a steal!
The chocolate brown one has owls on it and it looks like it has never been washed...its not faded one bit!

The cute little red one is going to be a Christmas dress!
I think I got it for 8$!

Look what else I got for Emma!!
An Alabama cheerleading outfit!!
It was 10$...they are at least 35$ at the stores!

I do believe that I will be moving Emma into the crib sometime this week!
She is starting to pull up and the pack n play bassinet is too shallow for her to do this...I'm afraid she is going to fall out!

She sure does look cute!  Now that she can see me I don't need her to wake up and see if I am there!  She already has a major attachment to me.

I love how Grayson loves his baby sister!  He can be a little rough with her but he means well!
If he hurts her and she crys out in pain, he immediately cries and says I didn't mean to hurt her, I'm sorry Emma!  I can tell it breaks his heart to hurt her!
He is just a rough little boy!

Emma has had a really bad snotty nose.
I think it has gotten raw from wiping it so much.
She was chewing on her lamb and she had a snotty nose and Grayson yelled "mom she is getting snot on her little lamb".
It was funny...I told him it was ok, I would wash it!

 Do you like it?
I ordered Kennedy a new quilt!  The one that she had I had gotten when she was 2yrs old and in her toddler bed.
It was a twin and her bed is a full/double!  It was time to get her a new one!
I wanted to get her one that she could use for a while and that wasn't babyish!
I really want to get her a white bed but that will come later.  I think white will suit a girl better...at least it will look better with this comforter.

This is Clay's little art work!  The window in Kennedy's room has an arch and we did blackout shades in all the rooms and b/c of this arch (which I love) a lot of light still came in the room soooo.....
Clay got the cardboard from the 60inch TV he bought, cut out 2 arch pieces and then put a wood frame in between the 2 pieces of cardboard and then he and Kennedy went to Hobby Lobby and Kennedy picked out this material and Clay stapled it on and
VOILA!!
(I would spell it Whala, but Clay says its French)
 WHATEVER!

 Its ruffles!  CUTE HUH?
Should Clay be an interior decorator?  LOL

This little girl loves the bath tub!
Now that she is sitting up really well she loves to play,

and splash!
Happy 7mths Emma!

Warning Extreme Cuteness Ahead!!

Isn't she the most adorable little cutie!!!

I love that Emma smiles all the time!  She is the happiest, easy going little one I've ever had!

She has started scrunching her nose up and blowing air in and out through her nose!  I love it!

She also does this spitting thing that results in catastrophes(refer to photo below)

Now when we feed her she likes to do her spitting thing and it goes all over...she has it in her hair too if you look closely!

She loves being outside watching her sister and brother entertain her by being their wild, crazy selves!
Still no teeth yet, but its looks like they might pop out soon.

She loves playing with her basket of toys and has recently started pulling every toy out of her basket and she tosses it to the side!!

Here is that nose scrunched up again!  She loves carrots, hence the orange nose!

Seriously!!!  What is this??  She isn't suppose to be doing this yet!!!
She is almost 7mths old but I thought I was going to have my baby for a little longer!!
She just started getting up on her knees so I hope we have a little longer before we have a mobile one!

I'm going to blame it on the kids because they want her to crawl and walk....I don't....not yet anyway!
She is starting to pull up too!!

Daddy put on some pandora music and danced that little baby asleep!  He has always danced with all of our children and they all seem to feel relaxed and calmed when he does it!
I know I have videos of him dancing with both of the girl when they are little bitty!  I'm not sure about Grayson!

What a crazy day!!

Since Clay bought me a bike I'm pretty sure we are the talk of the neighborhood as we go through the streets in our neighborhood!

I can't help but think it because of this crazy looking dog that politely sits in the basket on the front of my bike!

He seems to enjoy the wind blowing through his hair as I sweat and pedal hard to keep up with my 6yr old and 4 yr old that are pros on their bikes!

I have actually really enjoyed bike riding even though I could not tell you the last time my rear has been on a bike...it seriously hasn't sat on one since childhood!  REALLY!!

The other day while Clay and Emma were napping I took the kids and Jazzy on a ride...instead of the kids riding their bike they wanted to relax and ride in the trailer behind my bike!
I took the task on knowing my legs would feel like jelly legs when we got back home...if we got back!!  :)
On the other side of our neighborhood there is a big hill that the kids love going down so away we went to the other side of the country to free fall down this hill.
The hill was nice but getting to that point wasn't the easiest especially with 2 kids and a dog in the trailer you are desperately trying to pull while being very much out of shape!
We made it down the hill and started back towards the house and we got to the central park in our neighborhood and were about a 2 blocks from our house and I told the kids I was tired and that they might have to get out of the trailer so they did and they began pushing the trailer!  I just put my jelly legs up and let them push for a few seconds then they got back in and we made it home!
I have had so much fun riding with them and for them and I think they have enjoyed us joining in on something they love to do!  Bike riding!!

Something our kids love doing now that we have our own mailbox right by our house is getting the mail!  I just hope that it always makes its way to the house especially if its bills!  Since we got so many and I have to have the statement in order to pay them!

This picture will forever be a memory!!  My Kennedy now is a bus rider!!  She loves the bus (so far)!
Our bus picks up in our neighborhood last and drops off first...it gets to my house in the morning around 7:35-7:40 and in the afternoon it gets here right around 3:00.
Who can beat that!!??  In the morning her bus picks up elementary and middle school b/c they are right beside each other!  And in the afternoon the bus only has elementary kids on it!
I have never been pro bus b/c I know that alot can happen on a bus and its usually negative things!  But Kennedy really wanted to this yr and because our place was the last and first, I decided to let her do it...she is literally on the bus maybe 10 mins!  I just hope nothing ever happens in those 10 mins!
I took this pic today of her bus rounding the corner b/c I wanted to get a pic of her getting off of it this afternoon since the first time she rode it I had my camera but forgot to put the memory card back in it and I couldn't get a pic!  My bad!!
The bus stopped at our house(see Grayson and the back of my land yacht) but Kennedy didn't get off!!!  UGGG  the things that can go through a mothers head!!  I searched the bus, I literally got on the bus and looked for her and she wasn't there!
I had just put Emma down for her First nap today...yep she can go all day with only 1 nap.  So I walked to my sweet neighbors house and asked her to sit with Emma while I ran to the school!  I ran to the school and there she was, waiting on me in the car pick up line!  I got out and asked her how she was suppose to get home b/c we talked about it this morning and then I realized that the teacher and I had a miscommunication about how she was suppose to get home.  I think we got it straight now!
What a day!

These are my bar stools that Clay built me!  They have already been well used by the kids!
This is where they eat breakfast and most of the time lunch!

You can't see it very well but they have a zebra like finish to them!  They look brown here but they are stained black!
Thanks Clay for your mad wood working skills!!

Plasma TV vs Wii remote=DISASTER

Here you see our 50 inch mounted Plasma TV

Here you see the tiny Wii remote

And here you see the DISASTER!

Kennedy and Grayson woke up Monday morning and wanted to play bowling on the Wii so Clay was letting them play as he sat watching.
I was in our room nursing Emma and I hear a crash, I texted Clay and asked "what was that noise"?
He came in our room and told me that Kennedy had just threw the Wii remote through our TV.
He had just told her to stop slinging the remote so hard and he put it on her wrist and tightened it, or so he thought he tightened it enough.
Of course she didn't listen and the remote flung off her wrist into the TV.
A plasma TV has gasses behind the glass so when she cracked it, the gasses escaped and the TV is done with for good!
Clay didn't seem too upset, Kennedy ran strait to her room(probably in fear).
Clay then took some time and went to Best Buy to look, then he thought it over with lunch at Five Guys and went back and got this!!

This is our new 60 inch TV...clay decided that the 50 inch was a little small for this wall in our new house!

On a much cuter note!  Here are some pics and things we have been doing this week!

Kennedy loves Emma so much!  I absolutely love that she and Grayson both adore their baby sister!

 Emma in her little trailer!
Isn't she the cutest little thing ever!

So I decided to let Kennedy have a sleepover with her little friend Reannon!
They had a great time, they played outside, went to the park, I rode them all in the trailer a million times around the block, we popped popcorn and watched a movie, they took a bubbley bath(grayson calls it this), we read scriptures, had prayer, brushed our teeth and then Reannon decided she missed her momma and wanted to go home!  It was 11pm by this time and I knew that this might happen b/c her momma said she is a big momma's girl so we got in the car and took her home!

Kennedy was soooo upset that she didn't stay because it was her "first" sleepover!  Well I explained to her that it really wasn't her first sleepover cause we have had her friend/neighbor Rachelle from AR stay, her cousins, and a couple of others!  But for some reason this was really important to her so maybe another time Reannon will stay!

Emma eating her first cookie all by herself!  She seemed to like it!

It broke off and she had a piece sticking out of her mouth!

Family bike outing!

This past Saturday I sent Clay out to get me a bike at Target!  He came back with this pink bike with a pink basket and the only thing I could think of was The Wizard of Oz, with Dorthy on her bike with
to-to in the basket!

Tonight we rode all over the neighborhood and Jazzy sat in the pink basket on my bike...He seemed to love it!  I know we probably were the talk of the neighborhood!

I love it.  I haven't been on a bike in a very long time but it is really fun going on family bike rides now!

Before we moved to Alabama Clay snagged up a great buy at a garage sale for 50$.
He got this double trailer to ride Emma in.

Kennedy and Grayson absolutely love it too!

Grayson is peeking out the back!  I was amazed in how easy it was to pull both Kennedy and Grayson behind Clay's bike!
You couldn't even feel it behind the bike.
I thought for sure I was going to feel an extra 75 lbs behind the bike.
I rode all over the neighborhood with the 2 older ones in it!  Go Me!!

I did have Emma seat belted but when she fell asleep I laid her on the pillow and she slept till Clay stopped!

I'm glad she likes it because I think we will be going on daily bike rides for fun and for exercise!

When he stopped she woke up and wanted to be held!

My beautiful girls.  They have on matching pjs!

I love that she is so smiley!  She smiles all the time!

You can see their pjs a little better here!  Its purple elephants!  I bought them at different times and then realized that they matched.  Gotta love Carters!

Fun at the Poseys

I took one day this week and had a mommy day all by myself for about 4 hrs!

I went to Target to finish up Kennedys school supply list and then I just walked around looking.  We have a Super Target and I just like to take my time since I love Target anyway!

Then I went to Office Depot to find "colored copy paper" for Kennedy's school and it was like 12$ so it stayed at the store!  I have already spent 150$ on just school supplies!  WOW

I then went to Sams to get water and some other things and then I filled the land yacht up with gas!

Emma was asleep when I left but you never know if she is going to sleep for 30 mins or 3 hrs so I kept texting Clay to make sure she was ok.

I think she woke up while I was in Sams b/c when I got home this is what I saw!

Emma woke up and was crying and she wouldn't calm down with Clay so Kennedy took her and wrapped her up in her blanket and rocked her asleep!
She is a great big sister and loves her little sister a lot!

Kennedy must not require as much sleep as some kids b/c she has a hard time going to sleep a lot of times!  This night I told her to get "one" book and read or look at it and when I went to check on her this is what I found!

She just can't settle for "one" book she has to have the whole drawer full of books!

I am trying to get Emma to sleep better at night and not nurse her every time she gets up.

It has been quiet the battle and she wins sometimes.

I feel like I have no clue what I am doing!  I kicked Kennedy out of her room last night and put her with Grayson so I could let Emma cry in her crib hoping she would go to sleep.

Boy was I wrong!  She like the other 2 are strong willed and screamed till I picked her up.

Today I let her cry for 30 mins (yes I timed it) at nap time.  I then went in there and picked her up, she was really mad, but she calmed down and laid her head on my shoulder and went to sleep!

I don't know what I am going to do!!!  Anybody got any suggestions!

I like it when she sleeps!  I get things done!

Emma loves eating, usually in the morning Clay or I feed her cereal mixed with formula and a little fruit!  She doesn't like fruit so we mix just a little to give it a sweet flavor and she seems to be ok with that!
I think its weird that she doesn't like fruit, do you?

Its the funniest thing when she sees me coming with a wipe to clean her up she makes this face, EVERY TIME!  Its so funny!

My circus dog!  Good ole Jazzy, he loves to do crazy things!  He often gets on the kids trampoline and just lays there!  He gets inside the net too!  He is unusual in every way!
He seems to like it ok outside.  We have let him in a few times and one time he peed right on my hardwood floor in front of Clay and that's all I am going to post about that!
I let him in when its bad weather outside, he sits in the window seal shaking and I let him sleep in our bathroom on the tile floor with the door shut so he can't really hurt anything in there!

I literally folded 6 loads of laundry this day.  I was so tired of clothes and I had obviously put it off for long enough!

I love it when babies sleep in the froggy position!

It rained all day on Friday and Clay was in Birmingham all day so I let the kids paint!

I haven't done this in a really long time so I knew it would have their attention for a couple of hrs!

And it was nice not hearing them fuss with each other!

One of Kennedy's favorite things to draw is the rainbow!  She is a great drawer and obviously got it from her daddy cause I can't draw very well.

I had paint aprons on both of them and Grayson still wiped paint on his shorts and Kennedy got some on her shorts too!  But the good news is they had fun!

 Grayson and his art

Yep those are Clay's speakers in my ceiling!  He is waiting on the amps to come so that he can blow us out of this neighborhood!

Boys and their toys!
