This is why I love life!

These 3 little kiddos are my life!  Somedays Mostdays they give me trouble but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Emma isn't looking but I thought it was a really sweet picture of my oldest 2.

Its not often that I get a picture of them where they are getting along!

Is this not the most adorable little girl ever!  I love, love, love this little smile!  Its nothing but a smile full of gums!  Although I do believe she might be cutting a tooth.

She really loves to eat these days!  Tonight I fed her half a jar of squash with cereal added and she ate it so quickly so I fixed her some cereal with a little fruit added and she ate it all and then nursed!!!

She is growing!  At least we know that hair is growing!  LOL  She has some wild hair as the picture shows!

I grabbed Kennedy's camera tonight to see what pics she had and I found this cute one!  Not too bad for a 6 yr old...She actually took the one of her eating too!

I know that this is not rotated the correct way and I have tried to figure out how to rotate pictures and I don't have a clue so someone please tell me!!

Grayson loves his little sister so much.  I have never seen a child, especially a boy, that just adores his little sister.

Yes it might be because he is obsessed with her little ears.  He will tell you he loves her ears!
I wonder if he will grow out of this ear feddish.  I guess time will tell!

Family Fun!
Today My sister and her 3 kids came up and we went to the pool for 4 hrs.  It was a perfect day!
There was an overcast and there was a breeze.  We should of reapplied sunblock to the kids because they all ended up a little pink but nothing serious!

I wish I would of had my camera at the pool b/c all 5 of them were on 2 tubes together which means they were all getting along at the same time!  What a miracle!

Grayson had to sit out for running which is so surprising!!  Not really!  This particular lifeguard was a little annoying because they were not running they were walking fast!

When we got back home Kennedy was digging in her closet and found these skates that she has had for probably 2 yrs and she wanted to skate!

It was funny watching Kyndall tell her how to do it  "you have to glide, just glide your feet"  of course she was doing the motion too!

As you see Kennedy is all geared up with her knee pads and elbow pads!  She really need a helmet too!

Kennedy and Kyndall gliding together

This is a great game!!  Headbands!  These guys had a lot of fun playing and we had a lot of fun watching them get along so well!

Going Back Yet Again! Emma Adaline Posey

Baby #3

Being pregnant is not my favorite thing in the whole wide world but at the same time I wouldn't trade it for anything, I just wish it was shorter!

On Jan 30 2012, Monday we went into the hospital (St. Vicent Hospital Little Rock, AR) to be induced!  We had to be there around 5:30am.  Oh and by the way I am not a morning person!

After the induction was started my Dr (Dr Matthew Sellers), came in around 9:30 to check on me and break my water!  He also told my nurse I could get my epidural whenever I was ready!  Im ready!!  I wanted the epidural so I could get a little rest !

Dr Sellers said he would hopefully see me around lunch to deliver me!  Around 10am my nurse started getting a little nervous and told me that I had gone from a 6 to a 10 and to not move, sneeze or push until the Dr got there.

She contacted Dr Sellers and he was there around 10:30, I pushed a couple of times and delivered our sweet baby Emma at 10:36am.  She was a super easy delivery!

Emma is perfect!  She had a little difficulty keeping her body temperature where it was suppose to be for a new born so they had to keep her under a heater for a little!  My mom was really worried b/c at one time there were 3 nurses hovered over Emma talking and checking her out and it was because her temperature was low then when she checked it again it had spiked so she called some nurses in to make sure everything was ok!

Emma was ok, the thermometer wasn't working right I guess.  She did continue to have a little difficulty keeping her body temperature up and they had me check it often while we were still in the hospital!

Emma's cord blood showed that she was coombs positive which from my understanding was because I carried the Big E antibody.  She was jaundice at birth, it was at a 12 then it went down to 8 when we were discharged and we had to take her to the ped clinic first thing in the AM.

She weighed 8lbs 8ounces
She was 20 3/4 inches long (I think)!

Daddy and her brother and sister are so proud!

Daddy admiring her hair!!  LOL

She is like her momma, she already loves to have her hair played with.  It just relaxes her!

I love being a mommy of a little one again!  I sure did miss it!

My mom and dad came down the Friday before we had Emma to watch the other 2 kids while we were in the hospital.  We showed them how to get to the kids schools, and other places which was an overload for my mom.  I think I confused her b/c I was telling her so much!

We went home on Tues afternoon.  Clay went home after lunch to get the kids from school and get things settled for them and my mom stayed with me until they released us around 6
When we went to the clinic to get a jaundice check the Dr said that if it had doubled from yesterday she would be admitted into the hospital for photo therapy.  A couple of hrs after we had gotten home we received the phone call that it had in fact doubled and that she was being admitted into Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.

I was very upset because my mom and dad had just left that morning and clay was suppose to go back to work and we had 2 other kids to juggle.

Emma and I went to Baptist with it raining and pouring outside.  It was Feb 1, they got us admitted and started the photo therapy under the Billi lights!  They told me to only get her out every 4 hrs to nurse her.  I went by that rule the fist day but then if she cried I took her out and nursed her or held her to calm her!

It was hard being in the hospital again b/c I couldn't leave the room to do anything so Clay would bring the kids to visit everyday until they got out of control.  Clay came once to let me go home for a little to shower and spend time with the kids!  Kennedy wasn't handling the whole situation very well.

Emma was in the hospital from Feb 1-Feb 3, 2012.  We were released and had to get her little heal pricked several times to make sure the jaundice was going down or stabilized.

She actually slept pretty good under the Billi lights, she was nice and warm!

We finally were home and the kids couldn't keep their hands off of her!

Kennedy wants to hold her non stop!  She loves being a big sister

Emma is a very easy baby, she is so sweet!

She does like to be held!  she likes to snuggle and this nap nanny seat doesn't snuggle with her like mommy does!
This Kennedy's outfit...Emma's first time swinging!  She fell asleep!

My baby is 6mth old today!!

Emma Adaline Posey
6mths old

I am in total disbelief that my little one is already 6mths old!  I would go back to January 30, 2012 any day and do it all over again!

Emma was by far my easiest delivery.  From the time of my induction till I had her was 4hrs!  I pushed like 3 times and she was here!

She was my only baby that latched and nursed right after delivery and has never had a problem with nursing ever!  In fact the little munchkin wouldn't take a pacifier or a bottle.

We recently introduced the sippy cup to her.  She seems to like it.  Its a true sippy cup not the one with a bottle nipple.

 Bama attire!

Emma loves to sit in her seat while I am doing things in the kitchen.  She does really well at entertaining herself.

She is sitting up really well...she loves to play with her toys and grabs everything in site!  She grabbed the drink at chic-fila the other day and threw it on the floor.

I think that she is trying to cut a bottom tooth.  She has been slobbering and chewing on everything in site including my chin at times!

Clay weighed her the other day and she was 16.8 lbs!  She is my lump of love!!

She has such a laid back personality and is so easy going most of the time!

These guys love Emma like I have never seen before!  They are always fighting over who holds her or who gives her a toy!  They are always talking to her and making her laugh!  She loves them both!

I have a picture of all of my kids cutting their eyes like this.

I am in shock that my little Emma is 6 mths old already.  She is so fun!  I don't want her to be mobile just yet b/c I know when she does I won't be able to hold her as much!

I laugh when people tell me that their little one is rolling all over because I obviously don't put Emma down enough for her to roll all over!  I know she can roll both ways just because she does it in her bed!  She doesn't roll a whole lot when I do put her down!

She loves sleeping on her side or stomach!  She is still in our room in the bassinet part of the pack and play.

She is not consistent in her sleeping habits.  She sleep good some nights and then others she doesn't sleep well at all!

She loves carrots.  She loves most vegs but is not a fan of fruit at all!  We usually fix cereal for her in the mornings and add 2 spoon fulls of fruit.  I don't know if its just too sweet for her or what but she makes a face when she eats it.

bubble bath fun

My bathtub is jetted and it got its first bubble bath tonight.  I knew it would be fun for the kids.  They thought it was the most amazing thing in the world!!  We had to shower them afterwards to get the capful of bubbles off!  They had a blast!

It brought me back to the day when me and one of my companions from my mission, Delmy Chavez, went to my uncles cabin on Bear Lake and we got in the Jacuzzi and dumped bubbles in there and holy moley we had bubbles everywhere.  We had about an inch of water and the rest was bubbles.  We had a time getting those bubbles cleaned up but it was soooo funny!

This is just a capful of bubbles

Snaggle tooth!!  Thats what I call her these days!  I think she might have another loose tooth!!
I had better start telling the toothfairy to save her money!

He didn't like the bubbles in his face and kept asking me to wash them off with the rag!

Furnished House...Minus the walls!

Wahooo!!  We have a house!!  Yipee!!  Here are some pictures of the house minus the kitchen and the master suite!  They were a mess and I just couldn't let everyone see!!

This is Grayson's Room, look at that toy shelf that Clay built.
Grayson actually knows that every toy has a place or container and puts it in the right one!

We still don't have anything on the kids walls...I havn't figured out what I want to do yet.
You can't tell much about his shades but his are very strong woven for a tough boy

 Kennedy Room
I want to get her a new quilt soon, she has had this one since she was 2.

Emma's crib is in Kennedy's room too.  I will eventually put her with Kennedy.

Kennedy's room has the largest window in the entire house, its a double window, which also
means that the shade you are looking at was the most expensive shade in the house!  I love the arch!

This is the kids bathroom, I love this shower curtin, I found it at Target.  Its a good neutral boy/girl curtin

Kids double vanity.  I saw my reflection in the first pic I took and I had to redo it
without myself in it!  :-)

This is the upstairs bonus room/guest room/Clay's office

This is Clay's office!  LOL  Really it is, he decided that all he needed was a small desk and a new chair!

My extra toddler bed is up here too.  This room has its own full bath too.  It is a big room and is
pretty quiet because its the only room upstairs

 Upstairs bathroom

 Upstairs Bathroom...No reflection!!  LOL

Love, Love, Love my walk-in attic...its huge and clay and my dad floored the whole thing
which is about 400sqft.  Most of the attic is kids clothes!!  I think I'll open up my own consignment store when we are done having babies!!

Front double doors/stairway to room upstairs

Living room, the shades in here don't have liners b/c they face the fenced in back yard.  A big family pic is going in the middle of my mantle, its going to look amazing!  Thanks Andrea for the awesome pics

Living room.  I just have some stuff stuck on my mantle right now..not sure what I am going to do with it just yet.  I normally raise these shades as well as the ones in the kitchen in the morning to let natural light in!

Living room.  Don't pay attention to the background, our old computer desk is still sitting back there, we are getting rid of it!

I hope you enjoy the tour of our new home... almost in its entirety.
